Quaternary (EP)
''Quaternary'' is an Extended play, EP by the Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. It was released in 1994 on Elektra Records, Elektra. The EP, which was initially going to be titled ''Leftovers'', was made available as a mail-in offer for purchasers of the Mötley Crüe (album), self-titled album in a limited quantity of 20,000 copies. Background The EP features one song from each member of the band ("Planet Boom" by Tommy Lee, "Bittersuite" by Mick Mars, "Father" by Nikki Sixx, and "Friends" by John Corabi), along with the song "Babykills" which is performed by the entire band.61664-2 CD liner notes. Songs 1–3 and 7 were reissued on the ''Supersonic and Demonic Relics'' compilation in 1999. Mötley Crüe
Mötley Crüe is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981. The group was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. Mötley Crüe has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. They have also achieved seven platinum or multi-platinum certifications, nine Top 10 albums on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart (including 1989's '' Dr. Feelgood'', which is Mötley Crüe's only album to reach number one), twenty-two Top 40 mainstream rock hits, and six Top 20 pop singles. Nikki Sixx
Nikki Sixx (born Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna Jr.; December 11, 1958) is an American musician, best known as the co-founder, bassist, and primary songwriter of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. Prior to forming Mötley Crüe, Sixx was a member of Sister before going on to form London with his Sister bandmate Lizzie Grey. In 2000, he formed side project group 58 with Dave Darling, Steve Gibb and Bucket Baker, issuing one album, ''Diet for a New America''. Also in 2002, he formed the hard rock supergroup Brides of Destruction with L.A. Guns guitarist Tracii Guns. Formed in 2006, initially to record an audio accompaniment to Sixx's autobiography '' The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star'', his side band Sixx:A.M. features songwriter, producer, and vocalist James Michael and guitarist DJ Ashba. Skinny Puppy
Skinny Puppy is a Canadian industrial music group formed in Vancouver in 1982. The group is among the founders of the industrial rock and electro-industrial genres. Initially envisioned as an experimental side-project by cEvin Key (Kevin Crompton) while he was in the new wave band Images in Vogue, Skinny Puppy evolved into a full-time project with the addition of vocalist Nivek Ogre (Kevin Ogilvie). Over the course of 13 studio albums and many live tours, Key and Ogre have been the only constant members. "Hooligan's Holiday" is a song by American heavy metal band, Mötley Crüe, released on their 1994 eponymous album. The lyrics to the song were written by vocalist/rhythm guitarist John Corabi and bassist Nikki Sixx, while the music was written by Corabi, Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee and guitarist Mick Mars. It was the first song recorded by John Corabi for the album. Release Released as a single in 1994, it was the first single that featured the band with Corabi. A video for the song was produced and received some airplay on MTV. The single was released in a variety of packages, including a CD single, 7-inch single, and a 12-inch single (which came with a sticker featuring the new band logo). Rap metal is a subgenre of rap rock and alternative metal music which combines hip hop with heavy metal. It usually consists of heavy metal guitar riffs, funk metal elements, rapped vocals and sometimes turntables. The album is a collection of unreleased tracks as well as rare material, including songs from the limited edition "Quaternary" EP, the greatest hits compilation '' Decade of Decadence'', as well as demos and live versions. Background The compilation features the songs "Primal Scream", "Angela" and " Anarchy in the U.K.", which were all originally recorded specifically for the group's first compilation album ''Decade of Decadence'' in 1991.
