Quasar (comics)
Quasar is the name of several fictional superheroes in the Marvel Comics universe. They are noted for having worn the Quantum Bands, advanced ancient alien technology that grants the wearer manipulation of quantum energy. Fictional character biography Wendell Vaughn Vaughn is the longest-running Quasar character, and the first to use the name. Phyla-Vell Phyla-Vell becomes Quasar for a time after taking the Quantum Bands from Annihilus. Richard Rider To keep him from dying while deprived of the Nova Force, Rider temporarily takes the Quantum Bands from Vaughn, thus becoming Quasar. Marvel Comics is an American comic book publishing, publisher and the flagship property of Marvel Entertainment, a divsion of The Walt Disney Company since September 1, 2009. Blood Brothers (comics)
The Blood Brothers are a supervillain duo appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history The Blood Brothers first appeared in '' Iron Man'' #55 (Feb. 1973) and were created by Jim Starlin. Following their debut, the Blood Brothers returned in a Starlin/Friedrich story in ''Marvel Feature'' #12 (Nov. 1973), again fighting the superhero Iron Man, here teamed with Fantastic Four member The Thing. Silver Surfer
The Silver Surfer is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character also appears in a number of movies, television, and video game adaptations. The character was created by Jack Kirby and first appeared in the comic book ''Fantastic Four'' #48, published in 1966. The Silver Surfer is a humanoid alien with metallic skin who can travel through space with the aid of his surfboard-like craft. The electromagnetic spectrum is the range of frequencies (the spectrum) of electromagnetic radiation and their respective wavelengths and photon energies. The electromagnetic spectrum covers electromagnetic waves with frequencies ranging from below one hertz to above 1025 hertz, corresponding to wavelengths from thousands of kilometers down to a fraction of the size of an atomic nucleus. Quantum
In physics, a quantum (plural quanta) is the minimum amount of any physical entity ( physical property) involved in an interaction. The fundamental notion that a physical property can be "quantized" is referred to as "the hypothesis of quantization". This means that the magnitude of the physical property can take on only discrete values consisting of integer multiples of one quantum. For example, a photon is a single quantum of light (or of any other form of electromagnetic radiation). Similarly, the energy of an electron bound within an atom is quantized and can exist only in certain discrete values. The Eternals are a fictional extraterrestrial race of humanoids appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They were created by Jack Kirby, making their first appearance in ''The Eternals'' #1 (July 1976). Uranian (comics)
The Uranians are a fictional race appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They first appeared in '' Marvel Boy'' #1 (1950) as the human-like inhabitants of the planet Uranus, who became the hosts and mentors of Marvel Boy (Robert Grayson) and provide him with the technology which he used on Earth to become a superhero. The Kree, briefly known as the Ruul, are a fictional scientifically and technologically advanced militaristic alien race appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are native to the planet Hala in the Large Magellanic Cloud. In particle physics, annihilation is the process that occurs when a subatomic particle collides with its respective antiparticle to produce other particles, such as an electron colliding with a positron to produce two photons. The total energy and momentum of the initial pair are conserved in the process and distributed among a set of other particles in the final state. Antiparticles have exactly opposite additive quantum numbers from particles, so the sums of all quantum numbers of such an original pair are zero. Carol Susan Jane Danvers is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
