Quanitra Hollingsworth
Quanitra Hollingsworth ( tr, Kuanitra Holingsvorth, born November 15, 1988) is an American-Turkish professional basketball player for Çukurova Basketbol. In 2012 Hollingsworth acquired Turkish citizenship in order to be eligible to play for Turkey national women's basketball team. Therefore, she missed the 2012 WNBA season and 2014 WNBA season due to Turkish National Team commitments. She represented Turkey at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Women's Basketball Super League
The Women's Basketball Super League ( tr, Kadınlar Basketbol Süper Ligi, KBSL), also known as the Herbalife Nutrition Women's Basketball Super League for sponsorship reasons, is the top women's professional basketball division of the Turkish women's basketball league system. The league was established in 1980 and is organized by the Turkish Basketball Federation. There is also a Turkish Women’s Basketball League (TKBL), the second level in the Turkish women's basketball league system. Fenerbahçe are the most successful team in competition history, having won 16 championship titles to date. Competition system The competition is played in two phases: regular season and playoffs. Botaş SK
Botaş SK is a sports club based in Ankara. The major branch of the club is the women's basketball, currently performing at the Turkish Women's Basketball Super League. The club also competes in athletics. Botaş is the first Turkish club to play a final game in European women's basketball. The club was the runner up at the Ronchetti Cup in 2001 and won the Turkish Super League and Cup titles twice. Venue of the basketball team is DSİ Etlik Sports Hall.
