Qingdao Red Lions F.C.
Qingdao Red Lions Football Club is a professional football club and academy from Qingdao in Shandong province, China. The first team has its home base in Laixi city, with youth training taking part in Laixi and several districts of Qingdao. Former notable players include David Löfquist, Kwame Quansah, Milan Perić, Shi Hanjun and Qiu Zhonghui. Qingdao Red Lions was established in early 2016. The first team joined the Chinese amateur league system that year and won promotion to the professional China League Two in 2018. The club aims to contribute to the development of Chinese football, both on youth level as in competitive league football. Laixi Sports Centre Stadium
Laixi () is a county-level city of Qingdao sub-provincial city, Shandong Province, China. Laixi is known as "Qingdao's Back Garden". , its neighbor to the north; however, Laixi is now the northernmost county-level division of Qingdao and Laiyang is the southernmost division of Yantai. In mid-2015, The Qing-Long Highway opened, connecting Qingdao and Longkou. This made travel to Qingdao proper (the beach and business area) a faster and safer journey, as State Route 204 between Laixi and Qingdao (proper) is often crowded with trucks, hampered by numerous traffic lights, and narrow lanes. Wang Xinyu (, ; born 26 September 2001) is a Chinese professional tennis player. On 17 April 2023, Wang reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 59. On 19 June 2023, she peaked at world No. 25 in the doubles rankings. Partnering with Hsieh Su-wei, she won the women's doubles title at the 2023 French Open. Coaching team Wang's current team consists of her father, Wang Peng; a Serbian technical coach, Aleksandar Slović, who won the men's singles title at the 2009 Summer Universiade and once trained with Novak Djokovic when he was younger; a fitness coach, Miro Hrvatin from Croatia; and a Chinese physio from Nanjing.
