Qashqai Football Club (Persian: باشگاه فرهنگی ورزشی قشقایی, ''Bashgah-e Ferhengi-ye Vârzeshi-ye Qâshqâiye'') or Qashqai Cultural Sport Club is a football club based in Shiraz, Iran. The club represents the Qashqai people of Iran, who are historically an ancient nomadic tribe. Qashqai currently compete in the Azadegan League. History Qashqai Football Club was established in Shiraz in 2012 with the support of Qashqai Turk people living in Fars and other neighbor provinces of Iran. Qashqai F.C. was reputed since they as a second-tier club surprisingly knocked Persepolis football team out of Iran’s 2016–17 Hazfi Cup's 1/32 round on September 30, 2016. Hafezieh Stadium
The Hafeziyeh Stadium ( fa, ورزشگاه حافظیه) is a multi-purpose stadium in Shiraz, Iran. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Persian Gulf League side, Fajr Sepasi F.C. The stadium also is used for some matches of Bargh Shiraz F.C. in Azadegan League. The stadium holds 20,000 people and is all-seater. The stadium was the host venue of 2012 Hazfi Cup Final. The stadium is located in the Center of Shiraz in the Hafezieh district, near the Tomb of Hafez and is easily accessible for most people living in the city. Gholam Reza Enayati ( fa, غلام رضا عنايتى ; born 23 September 1976) is an Iranian football manager and former player. He is a former member of Iran national football team. Enayati played as a striker and is the all-time top goalscorer in the Persian Gulf Pro League. Club career Reza Enayati started out his professional career playing for his hometown club Aboomoslem. He had a number of impressive seasons there, especially the 2001–02 season where he finished as the league's top goalscorer and was called up to the national team. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Balls successfully kicked into the goal during a shoot-out do not count as goals for the individual kickers or the team, and are tallied separately from the goals scored during normal play (including extra time, if any). Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. The IRIFF decided to award one of Iran's AFC Champions League spots to the winner of the Hazfi Cup, and since then, the winners of Hazfi Cup have always been allocated a spot in the AFC Champions League. Qashqai People
Qashqai people (pronounced ; fa, قشقایی) are a tribal confederation in Iran mostly of Turkic origin. They are also believed to have incorporated Lurs, Kurds, and Arabs. Almost all of them speak a Western Turkic (Oghuz) language known as the Qashqai language, which they call "Turki", as well as Persian (the national language of Iran) in formal use. The Qashqai mainly live in the provinces of Fars, Khuzestan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Bushehr and Southern Isfahan, especially around the cities of Shiraz and Firuzabad in Fars.
