Qasem Saedi
Qasem Saedi ( fa, قاسم ساعدی) (Persian: قاسم ساعدی) (born: 1965, in Dasht-e Azadegan County, Khuzestan province) is a principlist representative of Dashte-Azadegan and Hoveyzeh in the Islamic Consultative Assembly (the Parliament of Iran) who was elected at the 11th Majles elections on 21 February 2020 and captured about 20,000 votes. Qasem Saedi who is a Twelver Shia Muslim and an Ahwazi Arab, is considered one of the 18 representatives of Khuzestan provinces at the current "Islamic Consultative Assembly" ( 11th parliament).The elected Azadegan plain was introduced in the parliament

Ahwazi Arabs
Khuzestani Arabs () are the largest Arab community in Iran which primarily reside in the western half of the Khuzestan province. This area is known as Ahwaz by the Arab community, and the capital of Khuzestan is Ahvaz. As of 2010, Khuzestani Arabs numbered around 1.6 million people. Language Nearly all Khuzestani Arabs are bilingual, speaking Arabic and Persian (the official language of the country).
