Quinnipiac Bobcats Men's Soccer
The Quinnipiac Bobcats men's soccer program represents the Quinnipiac University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. Founded in 1962, the Bobcats compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Bobcats are coached by Eric Da Costa, who has coached the program since 2005. The Bobcats plays their home matches at Quinnipiac Soccer Stadium, on the QU campus. Quinnipiac is the English name for the Eansketambawg (meaning "original people"; ''cf.'' Quinnipiac University () is a private university in Hamden, Connecticut. The university grants undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees through its College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Engineering, School of Communication, School of Health Sciences, School of Law, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Education. Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC, ) is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I. Of its current 11 full members, 10 are located in three states of the northeastern United States: Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. The other member is in Maryland. Members are all relatively small private institutions, a majority Catholic or formerly Catholic, with the only exceptions being two secular institutions: Rider University and Quinnipiac University.
