Quincy McKnight
Quincy McKnight (born December 5, 1995) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Sacred Heart Pioneers and the Seton Hall Pirates. He grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut and attended St. Joseph High School before transferring to The Phelps School. McKnight played two seasons at Sacred Heart, where he was named to the First Team All-Northeast Conference, before transferring to Seton Hall. He was named Honorable Mention All-Big East after leading the team to a share of the league championship during his senior season. Early life and high school career McKnight was born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He is the son of Vanessa Bruce and Terry McKnight. Steal (basketball)
In basketball, a steal occurs when a defensive player legally causes a turnover by their positive, aggressive action(s). This can be done by deflecting and controlling, or by catching the opponent's pass or dribble of an offensive player. The defender must not touch the offensive player's hands or otherwise a foul is called. Steals are credited to the defensive player who first causes the turnover, even if they do not end up with possession of the live ball. To earn a steal, the defensive player must be the initiator of the action causing the turnover, not just the benefactor. Myles Powell
Myles Blake Powell (born July 7, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the Qingdao Eagles of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He played college basketball for the Seton Hall Pirates. High school career Powell attended Medford Tech, Trenton Catholic, and the South Kent School for high school, playing at the varsity level all four years of his high school career. He averaged 25 points per game and three rebounds per game at South Kent and averaged 17 points as a junior and 18.5 points as a sophomore at Trenton Catholic. Powell played AAU basketball for NJ Playaz under head coach Jimmy Salmon averaging over 18 points. He was also a participant in the Nike EYBL Peach Jam where he averaged 19.8 points. Khadeen Carrington (born October 3, 1995) is a Trinidadian-American basketball player for Hapoel Jerusalem of the Israeli Basketball Premier League and the Basketball Champions League (BCL). He played college basketball for Seton Hall. The son of former professional soccer player and coach Reynold Carrington, he starred at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Brooklyn, New York. As a senior, he led the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA)'s Class AA division in scoring with 24.2 points per game and was named the Brooklyn Boys' Player of the Year by the ''New York Daily News''. The Boston College Eagles are a Division I college basketball program that represents Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, United States. The Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball team represents Bryant University in NCAA Division I men's basketball. The team currently competes in the America East Conference. Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament. The Jordan Brand Classic is a high school All-Star basketball game played annually in April. The game's rosters feature the best and most highly recruited high school boys in the senior class including alumns like Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum and Zion Williamson. In basketball, an assist is attributed to a player who passes the ball to a teammate in a way that leads directly to a score by field goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the basket. In basketball, a rebound, sometimes colloquially referred to as a board, is a statistic awarded to a player who retrieves the ball after a missed field goal or free throw. Rebounds in basketball are a routine part in the game; if a shot is successfully made possession of the ball will change, otherwise the rebound allows the defensive team to take possession.
