Massimo Felisatti
Massimo Felisatti (12 May 1932 – 7 September 2016) was an Italian novelist, essayist, screenwriter, and director. Biography Born in Ferrara, Felisatti graduated in Modern Letters, and then he started collaborating with some local newspapers, also directing the cultural magazine ''Ferrara''. In 1966 he moved to Rome, where he first worked as translator and essayist. In the 1970s he started a proficuous collaboration with the writer Fabio Pittorru, debuting with the successful giallo novel ''Violenza a Roma'', and writing screenplays for numerous films and for the crime TV-series ''Qui squadra mobile''. Felisatti was also active as a film director, co-directing with Sergio Grieco the poliziottesco '' Terror in Rome'' (1976) and a segment of the anthology film '' Un altro mondo è possibile'' (2001). Fabio Pittorru
Fabio Pittorru (24 August 1928 – 4 September 1995) was an Italian novelist, essayist, screenwriter, journalist and film director. Biography Born in Ferrara, after the World War II Pittorru was very active in the local cultural scene, working as a documentarist and as a journalist. In the mid-1960s he moved to Rome, where he started a proficuous collaboration with Massimo Felisatti, writing some successful giallo novels and several film screenplays. He was also very active on television, co-creating with Felisatti the crime TV-series ''Qui squadra mobile'', and writing a number of screenplays for television films. In 1974, he wrote and directed the commedia sexy all'italiana ''Amore mio spogliati... che poi ti spiego!''. Pittorru's literary works include biographies, historic essays and humorous novels. Orazio Orlando
Orazio Orlando (14 June 1933 – 18 December 1990) was an Italian film, stage and television actor. Life and career Born in Naples, Orlando attended the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome for two seasons, in 1953-54 and in 1954-55, without graduating. He made his debut at 18, with the stage company of Renzo Ricci, along with Giorgio Albertazzi and Anna Proclemer. His first important participation was in Shakespeare's ''King Lear'', in 1955. In 1958 he began his television career in the role of Tybalt in a successful adaptation of ''Romeo and Juliet''; he took part in a great number of films, TV-series and television movies, but became popular in 1973 thanks to the interpretation of the Commissioner Solmi, in the television series ''Qui squadra mobile''. Luigi Vannucchi
Luigi Vannucchi (25 November 1930 – 30 August 1978) was an Italian film, stage and television actor. Life and career Born in Caltanissetta, Vannucchi graduated at Silvio d'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1952 and shortly after entered the theatrical company of Vittorio Gassman. In 1958 he entered the Giorgio Strehler's company. From early 60's he also was very active as television actor, often in negative roles, in successful TV-series as ''A come Andromeda'' and ''I promessi sposi''. His film career was less prolific, but however it includes notable titles as Mikhail Kalatozov's ''The Red Tent (film), The Red Tent'', Joseph Losey's ''The Assassination of Trotsky'' and Roberto Rossellini's ''Anno uno'' (in which he played Alcide De Gasperi). Death His last work was the 1978 TV-series ''L'assurdo vizio'' (''The absurd vice''), in which he portrayed the suicidal writer Cesare Pavese. He committed suicide soon after. Rai 1 () is an Italian free-to-air television channel owned and operated by state-owned public broadcaster RAI – Radiotelevisione italiana.
