Quezon City's 6th Congressional District
Quezon City's 6th congressional district is one of the six congressional districts of the Philippines in Quezon City. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2013. Previously included in the 2nd district, it includes the barangays bordering the southern enclave of Caloocan more popularly known as Balintawak. It also includes the Tandang Sora area. Primarily residential, it is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Ma. Victoria Pilar of the National Unity Party (NUP). National Unity Party (Philippines)
The National Unity Party (NUP) is a political party in the Philippines. The party was formed in 2010 by former members of Lakas–CMD, Lakas-Kampi CMD who broke away after internal discontent within the party. Since 2016, the party is part of the PDP–Laban-led coalition in the House of Representatives of the Philippines, House of Representatives, the Coalition for Change (Philippines), Coalition for Change. The party was accredited by the Commission of Elections as a national party in a resolution dated October 5, 2011. New Era is a barangay in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is noted for its dominant Iglesia ni Cristo population. Geography The Tandang Sora Avenue is situated on the northern and eastern boundary of New Era. The barangay is also bounded on the southeast by Commonwealth Avenue and on the south by Central Avenue.
