Quetta Gladiators In 2019
The Quetta Gladiators is a franchise cricket team that represents Quetta in the Pakistan Super League. They were one of the six teams that competed in the 2019 season. The team was captained by Pakistani Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed, coached by Moin Khan and mentored by Viv Richards, while Abdul Razzaq served as Assistant Coach. They became the Champions for the first time ever, after being the Runners-up twice in 2016 and 2017 seasons. They became champions after defeating their arch-rivals Peshawar Zalmi in the final on 17 March at National Stadium. They finished second after the completion of their group stage matches, winning seven matches from their ten matches. They defeated Peshawar Zalmi in the Qualifier to reach the finals. Moin Khan
Muhammad Moin Khan ( ur, ; born 23 September 1971) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer, primarily a wicketkeeper-batsman, who remained a member of the Pakistani national cricket team from 1990 to 2004. He has also captained the Pakistani side. He made his international debut against the West Indies at Multan. He took over 100 catches in Test cricket. He has scored over 3,000 ODI runs and taken over 200 catches in ODI cricket. He is credited with coining the name of Saqlain Mushtaq's mystery delivery that goes from leg to off, as the ''doosra''. Ahsan Ali (, born 10 December 1993) is a Pakistani cricketer. He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team in January 2020. Ghulam Mudassar (born 24 October 1999) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Karachi. Max Waller
Maximilian Thomas Charles Waller (born 3 March 1988) is a former English professional cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a leg break bowler. He played first-class, List A and Twenty20 cricket for Somerset County Cricket Club. Waller played through the Somerset Age Groups whilst he was a pupil at Millfield School, where he had a successful career, ending up as Captain of the 1st XI. Umar Akmal (Urdu, pa, ; born 26 May 1990) is a Pakistani cricketer who played for Pakistan national cricket team between 2009 and 2019. Sarfaraz Ahmed ( ur, ; born 22 May 1987) is a Pakistani professional cricketer, a wicketkeeper- batsman, who plays for the Pakistani national cricket team. He was the former captain of the Pakistan side in all formats. He leads Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League. Azam Khan ( Sindhi and ur, اعظم خان; born 10 August 1998) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Islamabad United and Sindh.
