Franco Rossetti
Franco Rossetti was an Italian film director and screenwriter . Life and career Born in Siena, Rossetti started his career as a film critic, then in the early 1950s he entered the film industry as an assistant director. With the rise of the Spaghetti Western genre, Rossetti developed a solid reputation as a screenwriter, especially thanks to the screenplays of '' Django'', ''Texas, Adios'' and ''Johnny Oro''. He made his directorial debut in 1967 with the western ''The Dirty Outlaws'', and then he directed seven more films, spanning different genres. Cinzia Monreale (born Cinzia Moscone; 22 June 1957) is an Italian actress. She is best known for her roles in the horror classics '' Beyond the Darkness'' and '' The Beyond''. Early life Monreale was born in Genoa. She is the daughter of lyric singer Mirella Zaza. Career Monreale was active as runway model before starting her film career. The commedia sexy all'italiana (, lit. "sex comedy Italian style"), also known as commedia scollacciata or commedia erotica all'italiana, is a subgenre of Italian ''commedia all'italiana'' film genre. Style ''Commedia sexy'' is characterized typically by both abundant female nudity and comedy, and by the minimal weight given to social criticism that was the basic ingredient of the main ''commedia all'italiana'' genre. Stories are often set in affluent environments such as wealthy households. It is closely connected to the sexual revolution, and it was something extremely new and innovative for that period. For the first time, films with female nudity could be watched at the cinema. Pornography and scenes of explicit sex were still forbidden in Italian cinemas, but partial nudity was somewhat tolerated. Renzo Montagnani (September 11, 1930 – May 22, 1997) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Montagnani was born in Alessandria, Piedmont, and debuted as theatre actor thanks to the help of Erminio Macario. His first cinema success was his dramatic role in ''Metello'' (1970), but he later switched to the commedia all'italiana with his roles in the last two chapters of the '' Amici miei'' series (1982 and 1985). In the 1980s he also participated to a TV show as Don Fumino, an easy-speaking Tuscan parish priest. Montagnani also intensively worked as dubber, dubbing actors such as Michel Piccoli, Charles Bronson and Philippe Noiret for the Italian version of movies. He was also the Italian voice of Thomas O'Malley in the 1970 Disney film ''The Aristocats''. Carlo Giuffrè (3 December 1928 – 1 November 2018) was an Italian stage, film and television actor and a stage director. He appeared in more than 90 films between 1942 and 2002. Biography Giuffrè was born in Naples, Italy and was the brother of the actor Aldo Giuffrè. He enrolled at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts Silvio D'Amico, then he made his stage debut in 1949 with the company of Eduardo De Filippo.
