Quai De La Rapée (Paris Métro)
Quai de la Rapée () is a station of the Paris Métro, serving Line 5, located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. Location The station is located above ground between Pont Morland road bridge and the Voie Mazas, above the Saint-Martin canal, overhanging one of the locks leading to the Seine. The metro line connects to the Gare d'Austerlitz metro station by crossing the Seine via the Viaduc d'Austerlitz after the track winds to the right around the Institut médico-légal de Paris (morgue) on a viaduct called the Viaduc du quai de la Rapée. Since the closure of the nearby Arsenal station in 1939, the Quai de la Rapée station also serves the Bassin de l'Arsenal. Gare de Lyon is about 600 meters to the southeast. Jacques Bonsergent () is a station of the Paris Métro, serving line 5 and located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. History The station was opened on 17 December 1906 as the northern terminus of Line 5 from Place d'Italie, replacing the temporary terminus of Quai de la Rapée, before the line was extended to Gare du Nord on 15 November 1907. The stations original name of Lancry is after proximity to the Rue de Lancry and its former local owner, Sieur Lancry. The station kept that name until 1946. The current name refers to the Place Jacques Bonsergent, named after Jacques Bonsergent, an engineer who became the first Parisian (and possibly first French) civilian executed by the German occupation in 1940. MF 67
The MF 67 is a fleet of steel-wheel electric multiple unit trains for the Paris Métro. The first MF 67 trains entered service on Line 3 in June 1968, and became one of the biggest orders for the Métro, with 1,482 cars constructed. The need to replace the Sprague-Thomson fleet, as well as increasing costs associated with the later-cancelled plan to introduce rubber-tyred trains on all Métro lines, were the main factors for the size of the order.
