Caesar ( English  Caesars; Latin  ''Caesares''; in Greek: ''Kaîsar'') is a title of imperial character. It derives from the ''cognomen'' of Julius Caesar, a Roman dictator. The change from being a familial name to a title adopted by the Roman emperors can be traced to AD 68, following the fall of the Julio–Claudian dynasty. Origins The first known individual to bear the ''cognomen'' of "Caesar" was Sextus Julius Caesar, who is likewise believed to be the common ancestor of all subsequent Julii Caesares. Sextus' great-grandson was the dictator Gaius Julius Caesar. After he seized control of the Roman Republic following his war against the Senate, he adopted the title of ''dictator perpetuo'' ("dictator in perpetuity"), a title he only held for about a month before he was assassinated in 44 BC. Qeysar (film)
Qeysar ( fa, قیصر, italic=yes; ; alternative titles in English include: Qaiser, and Gheisar) is a 1969 film by Iranian filmmaker Masoud Kimiai. The film was considered a "landmark in the Iranian cinema" and led to a new trend for brooding ''noir'' dramas in which outraged family honor is avenged. Behrooz Vossoughi as the eponymous hero Qeysar, became a well known actor in Iranian cinema. Sadegh Khalkhali, an Iranian Shia cleric and politician, spoke openly in 1980 about this film no longer to be shown after the Iranian Revolution. It was remade in Turkish as ''Alın Yazısı'' (1972) starring Cüneyt Arkın. Plot A young woman, Fati, dies in a hospital. Her family is devastated when they discover her death was self-inflicted. Qaysar District
Qaisar (Qaysar or Qeysar) ( fa, قیصار) is district situated in the southwestern part of the Faryab province of Afghanistan. In 2021, the population was 400,000 with an ethnic composition of 70% Uzbek (Turkic origin), 16% Tajik, 10% Pashtun and 4% Turkman. The district center Qeysar (,1279 m altitude) (Qaisar bazaar), at the edge of the vast desert of Qaisar, has almost the same peculiarities of the Almar bazaar. This bazaar received its name at the end of the nineteenth century. Qaisar is popular for its great production of grapes and 70% of the district population own grape-gardens. The gardeners export tons of raisins to surrounding provinces in the north of the country and abroad to Russia and India as fresh grapes can not be exported due to transportation problems and bad road conditions. Azhar Shah Qaiser
Azhar Shah Qaiser (1920–1985) was an Indian Islamic scholar, journalist and writer. He wrote articles and books in Urdu. He was the elder son of the Indian hadith scholar, Anwar Shah Kashmiri. During his career, he served as the editor of ''Darul Uloom'', the monthly journal of Darul Uloom Deoband. Birth and education Azhar Shah Qaiser was born in December 1920 at Deoband. His father Anwar Shah Kashmiri was a hadith scholar. Qaiser enrolled in the Darul Uloom Deoband. When his father resigned from the Darul Uloom Deoband in 1927, and moved to Jamia Islamia Talimuddin, Dabhel, Qaiser went with him to Dabhel and continued his studies there. Qaiser was about 12 years old when his father Anwar Shah Kashmiri died in 1933. Facing consequences, Qaiser was not able to complete his studies.
