Qatar Men's National Volleyball Team
The Qatar men's national volleyball team represents Qatar in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches. As of 20 September 2021, the team was ranked 20th in the world. Qatar's best rank in Asian Championship 3rd place, 2023 year. History Qatar first appeared at the Asian Volleyball Championship in 1989. Qatar also finished fourth at the 2006 Asian Games which they hosted in Doha, after dropping their semifinal 3-1 to South Korea and the bronze medal match 3-2 to Saudi Arabia. Qatar jointly set the world record for the highest set score in its 45-43 victory over Venezuela on 11 June 2017. 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship
The 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship will be the 21st staging of the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the (FIVB). Starting this staging, the World Championship will be expanded to include 32 teams, increasing from 24 teams. The tournament will thus also be held biannually instead of quadrennially. Bidding process * and Qualification The qualification stage of the competition consists of four categories. The host(s) will secure the first place(s). The current world champions Italy also automatically qualifies. The top three teams from each of the latest Continental Championships will also qualify. 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup
The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup was the third edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup, an annual men's international volleyball tournament contested by eight national teams that acts as a qualifier for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League. The tournament was held at Jamsil Students' Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea, between 28 and 31 July 2022. Cuba won the title, defeating Turkey in the final, and earned the right to participate in 2023 Nations League replacing Australia, the last placed challenger team after the 2022 edition. 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup
The 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup was the second edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup, an annual men's international volleyball tournament contested by 6 national teams that acts as a qualifier for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League. The tournament was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia from 3 to 7 July 2019. Slovenia won the title, defeating Cuba in the final, and earned the right to participate in the 2020 Nations League replacing Portugal, the last placed challenger team after the 2019 edition. The 2016 FIVB Volleyball World League was the 27th edition of the annual men's international volleyball tournament which was played by a record of 36 teams from 16 June to 17 July 2016.
