Péter Baráth (born 21 February 2002) is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays for Ekstraklasa club Raków Częstochowa, on loan from Ferencváros. Club career Ferencváros On 14 February 2023, Baráth joined Hungarian champions Ferencváros. On 12 March 2023, he made his first appearance against Puskás Akadémia at the Groupama Arena. On 5 May 2023, he won the 2022–23 Nemzeti Bajnokság I with Ferencváros, after Kecskemét lost 1–0 to Honvéd at the Bozsik Aréna on the 30th matchday. 2023–24 season On 6 August 2023, he made his first appearance in the 2023–24 season season in a 5–3 victory against Fehérvár at the Sóstói Stadion. Kisvárda (; german: Kleinwardein, yi, קליינווארדיין, Kleynvardeyn) is a town in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary near the border of Slovakia and Ukraine. The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification rounds. Nemzeti Bajnokság III (''NBIII'', ''National Championship III'') is the third tier of Hungarian football (from the autumn of 1997 till the spring of 2005, NB III was the fourth tier, the third was NB II). The 2019–20 Nemzeti Bajnokság III is Hungary's third-level football competition. The championship was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The winners of the season were Érdi VSE, Pécsi MFC and Debreceni EAC. Pecs and Debreceni EAC were promoted. However, Érd could not meet the requirements of the Nemzeti Bajnokság II. Therefore, the second team, III. Kerületi TVE, were promoted. On 11 July 2018, the three groups of the new season was finalised. On 4 May 2020 season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
