Pärt Uusberg (born 16 December 1986) is an Estonian composer, conductor, and actor. He is the chief conductor of Chamber Choir Head Ööd, Vend. He played Joosep in the film '' The Class''. Uusberg was born in Rapla. He has two brothers - Uku Uusberg is an actor and Andero Uusberg is a psychologist. His father Valter Uusberg is an animation director and mother Urve Uusberg is also a conductor and a psychologist. ''In the Crosswind'' ( et, Risttuules) is a 2014 Estonian drama film directed by Martti Helde. It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. The film is about the forced deportation by Stalin's Russia of an Estonian family to Siberia in the June deportation. It is based on a real-life diary from the period. ''Oleg'' () is a 2019 Latvian drama film directed by Juris Kursietis. It was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. Plot Oleg (Oļegs) is a non-citizen of Latvia of Russian origin and a butcher by profession, who searches for a better life by working in a Belgian meat factory. Urve Uusberg
Urve Uusberg (born Urve Piho; 5 January 1953) is an Estonian conductor and psychologist who founded and conducted the choir studio Riinimanda. Uusberg was born in Tartu. She graduated from the Tallinn Pedagogical Institute with a degree in choir conducting in 1975 and from the Tartu State University with a degree in psychology in 1983. In 2004, she defended her master's degree in psychology at the University of Tartu. Shas has also trained as a psychotherapist at the Estonian-Danish Gestalt Institute.
