Pär Axel Sahlberg
Pär Axel Sahlberg (born 1954) is a Swedish pastor, politician and former member of the Riksdag, the national legislature. A member of the Social Democratic Party, he represented Halland County between October 1994 and October 1998; and between April 1999 and October 2006. He was also a substitute member of the Riksdag twice: October 1998 (for Jörgen Andersson); and between October 1998 and March 1999 (for Ingegerd Sahlström). Halland County ( sv, Hallands Län) is one of the 29 multi-member constituencies of the Riksdag, the national legislature of Sweden. The constituency was established in 1970 when the Riksdag changed from a bicameral legislature to a unicameral legislature. It is conterminous with the county of Halland. The constituency currently elects 10 of the 349 members of the Riksdag using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. Ingegerd (Old Norse ''Ingigerðr, Ingigærðr'') is a Scandinavian feminine given name, from the theonym ''Ing'' combined with the element ''garðr '' "enclosure, protection". The name Inger is a short form. In Finnish the equivalence of Ingegerd is Inkeri.
