Puthiya Karukkal
''Puthiya Karukkal'' is a 1989 Indian Malayalam action thriller film, directed and produced by Thampi Kannanthanam. The film stars Jayaram, Parvathy Jayaram, Lalu Alex and M. G. Soman in the lead roles. The film has musical score by S. P. Venkatesh. Plot Udaya Varma is a rich wheelchair bound estate baron living with his young wife Sridevi at his estate bungalow. Both manage Varma’s estates together with the help of their trusted manager Jagadeesh. They frequently socialize with Varma’s doctor & friend Thomas Kurian, who lives with his granddaughter. Varma generously helps Sridevi’s father in marrying off his 2 younger daughters and also with his medication and expenses. Into their life comes the ex-convict Vinod, who is released recently from prison having served a term for murder. Thampi Kannanthanam (11 December 1953 – 2 October 2018) was an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer and actor, who worked in Malayalam cinema. He has directed 16 films. Personal life Thampi was born on 11 December 1953 as the sixth son of Baby Kannanthanam and Thankamma at Kanjirappally, Kottayam district, Kottayam. Bheeman Raghu
Bheeman Raghu (born 6 October 1953) is an Indian actor, singer, dancer, former politician and police officer (retired) who appears mainly in Malayalam films and is best known for his villainous and comedy roles. In a career spanning over three decades, he has appeared in more than 400 films, and has started doing comic roles as well. Raghu's debut movie was ''Bheeman'' (1982), from which he got his stage name. By profession, Raghu was an inspector in the Kerala Police force. His first movie as a lyricist was ''Kaattuvithachavan'' (1973) but his first released movie was ''Chuzhi'' (1973).
