Purity Cherotich Kirui
Purity Cherotich Kirui (born 13 August 1991) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specialises in the 3000 metres steeplechase. She holds a personal best of 9:19.42 minutes for the event. She was the gold medallist at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2010 World Junior Championships in Athletics. Born in Kericho, her international debut came at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games, where she was seventh in the 1500 metres and also ran for Kenya as part of their 4×400 metres relay. She emerged as a steeplechase specialist in the 2010 season by winning the gold medal at the 2010 World Junior Championships in Athletics. She made her first performances on the international track and field circuit in 2011 and had a series of top three finishes at IAAF World Challenge-level meets. She was in the top ten at three IAAF Diamond League races, but managed only seventh at the Kenyan Athletics Championships. Milcah Chemos Cheywa (born 24 February 1986 in Bugaa, Mount Elgon District) is a runner from Kenya who specialises in 3000 metres steeplechase. She was, until 2015, African record holder at the distance and is the gold medalist of the 2013 World Championships in Athletics. The Memorial Van Damme is an annual athletics event at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels, Belgium, that takes place in late August or early September. Adidas Grand Prix
The USA Track & Field, USATF New York Grand Prix is an annual athletics meeting held at Icahn Stadium in New York City, United States. First started in 2005 as the Reebok Grand Prix and then Adidas Grand Prix, it was previously one of the IAAF Grand Prix events. It was part of the Diamond League competition through 2015. The IAAF announced on March 3, 2016, that New York would be replaced immediately by Rabat, Morocco, on the Diamond League tour. Local organizers the same day said they would announce plans to carry on the meet as a street event in New York. The meeting was eventually replaced in 2016 by the Adidas Boost Boston Games. The Doha Diamond League is an annual one-day track and field meeting held at the Suheim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
