''Pure Love'' (), released internationally as ''Unforgettable'', is a 2016 South Korean romance drama film starring Doh Kyung-soo and Kim So-hyun. Plot In 2014, a radio DJ gets a letter from his first love that brings up almost-forgotten memories of the past. 23 years ago in 1991, five friends spend the summer together. One of them, shy and innocent Beom-sil falls in love with Soo-ok. Beom-sil has a noticeable crush on Soo-ok and waits by the girl's window during the summer. Pure Love was an English-American rock music, rock band formed in 2011 by former Gallows (band), Gallows frontman Frank Carter (musician), Frank Carter and ex-The Hope Conspiracy and The Suicide File, Suicide File guitarist Jim Carroll, after Carter's departure from Gallows due to "creative differences". The band's musical style was a marked change from the hardcore punk backgrounds of the members. History Frank Carter had made his name in the punk subculture, punk scene with the Hemel Hempstead/Watford-based band Gallows, who were known for their intense live shows. On the back of their success with debut album ''Orchestra of Wolves'', the band signed a £1 million deal with Warner Music Group, Warner Bros. "Pure Love" is the song which also marked the first country chart-topping single by its writer, Eddie Rabbitt, a country music singer. Background Rabbitt had tasted previous success with 70's "Kentucky Rain", sung by Elvis Presley. In the song, Eddie Rabbitt compares "pure love" to such things as milk, honey and the Cap'n Crunch breakfast cereal, before pointing out that the love shared between the protagonist and his/her object of affection is "99 percent pure" (borrowing from the old Ivory soap advertising slogan).
