Puning Dialect
Puning (; postal: Puning) is a county-level city in the municipal region of Jieyang, in the southeast of Guangdong Province, China. Economy Puning's main industries include: citrus, Plum, clothing, traditional Chinese medicine and so on. The specialties there are Puning miso (in Hong xiangyangzhen producing the most authentic) and Puning dried tofu (also known as Puning tofu). Chengde
Chengde, formerly known as Jehol and Rehe, is a prefecture-level city in Hebei province, situated about 225 km northeast of Beijing. It is best known as the site of the Mountain Resort, a vast imperial garden and palace formerly used by the Qing emperors as summer residence. The permanent resident population is approximately 3,473,200 in 2017. History In 1703, Chengde was chosen by the Kangxi Emperor as the location for his summer residence. Constructed throughout the eighteenth century, the Mountain Resort was used by both the Yongzheng and Qianlong emperors. The site is currently an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is an alternative medical practice drawn from traditional medicine in China. Chan Tung (1954-2001), Hong Kong's famous chef, was born in Puning, Guangdong. He was famous for teaching cooking in the TV programmes. Chan learnt cooking in his father's restaurant since he was 10 years old. However, he did not gain any special treatment. In contrary, his father was particularly strict to Chan's performance. Chuang Shih-ping, (, 20 January 1911 – 2 June 2007) was a Hong Kong businessman who was the founder of the Hong Kong Nanyang Commercial Bank in 1949 and the Macau Banco Nan Tung in 1950. Zhuang was born in Puning, Guangdong and he came to Hong Kong in 1947. As a member of the pro-Beijing camp, Chuang was appointed a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee and a local National People's Congress delegate by the Chinese government. Ke Hua (; 19 December 1915 – 1 January 2019) was a Chinese diplomat who served as Chinese Ambassador to Guinea from 1960 to 1964, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana from 1972 to 1974, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines from 1975 to 1978, and Chinese Ambassador to the United Kingdom from 1978 to 1983.
