Puma Clubman
The Puma Clubman sports car was conceived and designed by John Karnon and Neville Darwin in Adelaide, Australia based on Ron Champion's book ''Build your own sports car for as little as £250 - and race it'' (). Between 1998 and April 2014, John Karnon constructe54 chassisand of those 30 have been completed and registered for road use. John Karnon has continued to develop the Puma chassis design to make use of more modern available donor parts. Early Pumas were built with Nissan SR20DET S13 engines with later cars using Nissan SR20DET S14 and SR20DET S15. The S15 engine uses a six-speed gear box. Two Pumas were constructed with non-turbo SR20DE engines with one having a unique "manual automatic" gearbox. Also, two Pumas are being built with non turbo Mazda MZR2300 engines. Ron Champion
A Locost is a home-built car inspired by the Lotus Seven. The car features a space frame chassis usually welded together from mild steel square tubing. Front suspension is usually double wishbone with coil spring struts. The rear is traditionally live axle, but has many variants including independent rear suspension or De Dion tube. Body panels are usually fiberglass nose and wings and aluminium side panels. Each car is highly individualized according to the resources, needs and desires of each respective builder. The original design was intended to be built from scratch. However, the design has become so popular that several fabricators have begun producing the chassis in kit car form. Additionally, fiberglass body components, suspension pieces and other Locost-specific components can be sourced from various suppliers. Nissan SR20DET
The SR20DET is a straight-four four-stroke Petrol engine, gasoline engine that is part of the Nissan SR engine, SR family of engines from Nissan Motors, Nissan, produced from 1989 to 2002. It is a Turbocharger, turbocharged version of the Nissan SR engine#SR20DE, SR20DE engine and is a replacement of the Nissan CA engine#CA18DET, CA18DET engine. The SR20DET, like with the outgoing CA18DET, was a turbocharged intercooled engine in top form. It was Nissan's popular four-cylinder engine fitted into a wide variety of cars, most notably the S13-chassis Nissan Silvia and 180SX. Wamboin is a rural-residential area in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia in the County of Murray, Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council LGA. Blackwood, South Australia
Blackwood is a south eastern suburb located in the foothills of Adelaide, South Australia. It is part of the local government area of the City of Mitcham. History The name "Blackwood" most likely comes from either the Acacia melanoxylon, also known as the Australian blackwood, which grows in the nearby Mount Lofty Ranges, or the Eucalyptus odorata, which grows in Blackwood and has dark bark. SR20DE
The SR engine is a series of , or straight-four, four-stroke gasoline engines manufactured by Nissan. It has an aluminum head and cast-iron block with steel sleeves and has a DOHC 4-valve design, with variable valve timing on select models. The engine was used in many small to medium Nissan vehicles, including high-performance turbocharged variants. The Ford Escort is a small family car that was manufactured by Ford of Europe from 1968 until 2000. The Ford Cortina is a medium-sized family car that was built initially by Ford of Britain, and then Ford of Europe in various guises from 1962 to 1982, and was the United Kingdom's best-selling car of the 1970s. Holden Commodore
The Holden Commodore is a full-size car that was sold by Holden from 1978 to 2020. It was manufactured from 1978 to 2017 in Australia and from 1979 to 1990 in New Zealand, with production of the locally manufactured versions in Australia ending on 20 October 2017.
