Pulp (2012 Film)
''Pulp'' is a British comedy film directed by Adam Hamdy and Shaun Magher, starring Jay Sutherland and John Thomson, In March 2013, it was released exclusively on Xbox Live, becoming the first feature film to be distributed via a games console platform. Plot ''Pulp'' tells the story of Tony Leary, the nice-guy owner of Junk Comics, who is gearing up for one last roll of the dice. He plans to launch his new superhero title, The Sodomizer, at the British International Comic Show, and nothing will stop Tony from making it a success. Adam Hamdy (born 12 March 1974) is a Sunday Times best-selling British novelist, screenwriter and film producer best known for his novels, ''Pendulum'', ''Black 13'', and ''Private Moscow'', co-written with James Patterson. Biography Hamdy was born and raised in London, United Kingdom. He attended the University of Oxford, and graduated with a degree in law. He also holds a degree in philosophy from the University of London. Hamdy joined the consulting team at Lloyd's of London. From there, he went on to join a niche management consulting firm and worked in the technology and medical sectors.
