''Puli Bidda'' () is a 1981 Telugu-language sports drama film directed by V. Madhusudhana Rao and produced by N. Seshagiri Rao under Heramba Chitra Mandir. The film stars Krishnam Raju and Sridevi. It is a remake of the 1978 Kannada film ''Thayige Thakka Maga''. The soundtrack was composed by Chakravarthy. Krishnam Raju acted as a boxer in the film. ''Thayige Thakka Maga'' (''Like Mother Like Son'') is a 1978 Indian Kannada-language sports action film directed by V. Somashekhar and produced by Parvathamma Rajkumar. It is based on the story written by Anjaneya Pushpanand. The film starred Rajkumar as a boxer along with Savitri, Padmapriya and Sowcar Janaki. Veteran Tamil-Telugu actress Savitri plays one of the title role of Thayi (Mother) in this film. The screenplay, dialogues and lyrics are written by Chi. Udaya Shankar. Narra Venkateswara Rao was an Indian actor known for his works in Telugu cinema. He hailed from Agraharam village (Ramachandrapuram) in Zarugumalli Mandal, Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Career He acted in over 500 films spanning more than three decades. Ceylon Manohar ( ta, சிலோன் மனோகர்) ( – 22 January 2018), popular name of A. E. Manoharan (Anthony Pillai Emmanuel Manoharan) also known as Surangani Manohar ( ta, சுராங்கனி மனோகர் ), was a pop singer and actor. He has played roles in Tamil films and other Sri Lankan Tamil works. Manoharan was 73 when he died in Chennai of age-related ailments.
