Puerto Cortés Airstrip
Puerto Cortés Airstrip is the military dirt airstrip of Puerto Cortés Naval Base, located on the East side of Isla Santa Margarita, on the coast of Magdalena Bay, in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. Isla Margarita is a Pacific Ocean island, located to the West of the Baja California Peninsula, and belongs politically to the municipality of Comondú. Puerto Cortés Naval Base is handled by the Mexican Navy and is the center of a Military Naval Sector that depends from the 2nd Military Naval Region in Ensenada, BC. Comondú Municipality
Comondú is a municipality of the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. It had a population of 70,816 inhabitants in 2010 census (INEGI). With a land area of 16,858.3 km2 (6,509.03 sq mi), it is the seventh-largest municipality in area in Mexico. The municipal seat is located in Ciudad Constitución. The Spanish missions of San José de Comondú and San Luis Gonzaga are located in this municipality. Rocas Alijos, a group of tiny rocks that are 300 km west off the coast, are part of the municipality. Ensenada, Baja California
Ensenada is a city in Ensenada Municipality, Baja California, situated on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.
