Thomas Phillip Puccio (September 12, 1944 – March 11, 2012) was an American trial attorney who served in the United States Department of Justice, including as an investigator and prosecutor in the Abscam case, before working as a criminal defense lawyer representing high-profile clients such as Claus von Bülow. Early life Puccio was born in 1944 in Brooklyn, New York, to Matthew and Jeanette Puccio. He attended Brooklyn Preparatory School before going on to Fordham University (graduating in 1966) and Fordham University School of Law (graduating in 1969). Career After law school he joined the Brooklyn office of the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York as an assistant prosecutor. Puccio Pucci (12 April 1904 – 15 January 1985) was an Italian athlete ( middle-distance runner), lawyer and sports official. Biography Puccio Pucci competed at the 1924 Summer Olympics. He was the son of the notary Pietro Pucci, a former director of the Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera and of the FIDAL he was general secretary from 1931 to 1938. His father was killed in Libya during World War II. As right-hand-man to Alessandro Pavolini, the secretary of the Partito Fascista Repubblicano, Puccio helped form the infamous Black Brigades. Upon the Armistice, on 18 March 1944 he was made president of the Italian National Olympic Committee on the basis of his experience with FIDAL. Puccio Capanna was an Italian painter of the first half of the 14th century, who lived and worked in Assisi, Umbria, Italy between 1341 and 1347. He is also called ''Puccio Campana''. Capanna was originally a Florentine. Vasari described him as one of Giotto’s most important pupils, whom the inhabitants of Assisi considered to be a fellow citizen as he had done a lot of paintings in the churches there, e.g. at the lower church of the Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi. Vincenzo Puccio
Vincenzo Puccio (November 27, 1945 – May 11, 1989) was a member of the Sicilian Mafia. He was from Palermo and joined the Ciaculli Mafia family sometime in the late 1970s, although like many other members of that particular family he operated a great deal under the orders of the Corleonesi. Criminal career He was arrested together with two other men, Giuseppe Madonia and Armando Bonanno, on May 4, 1980 for the murder of Carabinieri captain Emanuele Basile, who had been shot earlier that day. Puccio and his accomplices were tried twice; the first trial was annulled, and they were acquitted at the second.
