Publication History Of Marvel Comics Crossover Events
Throughout its history of publication, Marvel Comics has produced many intercompany crossover stories combining characters from different series. The following is a list of crossover events involving superheroes and characters from different series. Line-wide events ''Secret Wars'' was the first modern Marvel event where a separate limited series was launched and then all other tie–ins followed from that. Sentinel Squad O*N*E
The Sentinels are a fictional variety of Mutant (Marvel Comics), mutant-hunting robots appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are typically depicted as antagonists to the X-Men. The Sentinels played a large role in the 1990s X-Men: The Animated Series, ''X-Men'' animated series and have been featured in several X-Men video games. The Sentinels are featured prominently in the 2014 film ''X-Men: Days of Future Past'' while Danger Room, simulated versions made brief appearances in the 2006 film ''X-Men: The Last Stand'' and the 2016 film ''X-Men: Apocalypse''. Fear Itself (comics)
"Fear Itself" is a 2011 fictional crossover, crossover comic book storyline published by Marvel Comics, consisting of a seven-issue, eponymous miniseries written by Matt Fraction and illustrated by Stuart Immonen, Wade Von Grawbadger, and Laura Martin, a prologue book by writer Ed Brubaker and artist Scot Eaton, and numerous tie-in books, including most of the X-Men family of books. Heroic Age (comics)
The Heroic Age is a 2010 comic book branding that ran through a number of books published by Marvel Comics. It began in May 2010, marking a major change in the status quo of the Marvel Universe after the events of the "Siege" crossover event, similarly to how " The Initiative" and " Dark Reign" dealt with the aftermath of "Civil War" and "Secret Invasion", respectively. Siege (comics)
''Siege'' is an American comic book published by Marvel Comics from January to May 2010. It deals with the climax of the " Dark Reign" storyline, which saw Norman Osborn become the United States primary defense officer, leading H.A.M.M.E.R. as well as employing his own evil Avengers. The story depicts Loki manipulating Osborn into leading an all-out assault on Asgard, at the time located within the United States. Captain America and his own Avengers lead a rebellion against Osborn. The events in ''Siege'' led to Marvel Comics introducing the subsequent storyline " Heroic Age". Publication history "Siege"' consists of an eponymous four-issue mini-series, and a number of related tie-in books, including one-shots, miniseries, and existing ongoing series. Norman Osborn
Norman Osborn is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, first appeared in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #14 (July 1964) as the first and best-known incarnation of the Green Goblin, as well as being generally regarded as the archenemy of Spider-Man, alongside Doctor Octopus and Venom. Dark Reign (comics)
Dark Reign is a 2008 to 2009 comic book branding used by Marvel Comics. It deals with the aftermath of the "Secret Invasion" storyline, which leads to a shift of power in the Marvel Universe toward Norman Osborn. The title refers to Osborn's rise to national power and the ramifications thereof. Skrull
The Skrulls are a fictional race of extraterrestrial shapeshifters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The Skrulls first appeared in ''Fantastic Four'' #2 and were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. They originated from the planet Skrullos and their empire is located in the Andromeda Galaxy.
