''Psycho'' is a 1960 American horror film produced and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The screenplay, written by Joseph Stefano, was based on the Psycho (novel), 1959 novel of the same name by Robert Bloch. The film stars Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Vera Miles, John Gavin and Martin Balsam. The plot centers on an encounter between on-the-run embezzler Marion Crane (Leigh) and shy motel proprietor Norman Bates (Perkins) and its aftermath, in which a private investigator (Balsam), Marion's lover Sam Loomis (Gavin), and her sister Lila Crane, Lila (Miles) investigate her disappearance. Macario Gómez Quibus
Macario Gómez Quibus, known by the professional nickname of Mac, (8 March 1926 – 20 July 2018) was a Spanish film poster artist and designer known for his work for some of Hollywood's best known films of the 20th Century. Some of his most prominent work includes the film posters for ''Doctor Zhivago (film), Doctor Zhivago'' (1965), ''For a Few Dollars More'' (1965), ''The Ten Commandments (1956 film), The Ten Commandments'' (1956), ''Some Like It Hot'' (1959), ''Psycho (1960 film), Psycho'' (1960), ''La gran familia'' (1962), and ''Dr. No (film), Dr. No'' (1962). Lila Loomis ( née Crane) is a fictional character created by American author Robert Bloch in his 1959 thriller novel '' Psycho''; she is the sister of Norman Bates's victim Marion Crane. He has an alter, Mother, who takes from the form of his abusive mother, and later victim, Norma, who in his daily life runs the Bates Motel.
