David Pryce-Jones
David Eugene Henry Pryce-Jones (born 15 February 1936) is a British conservative author and commentator. Early life Pryce-Jones was born on 15 February 1936, in Vienna, Austria. He was educated at Eton and earned a degree in history at Magdalen College, Oxford. He is the son of writer Alan Payan Pryce-Jones (1908–2000) by his first wife (married 1934), Therese "Poppy" Fould-Springer (1914–1953) of the Fould family. Therese was a daughter of Baron Eugène Fould-Springer, a French-born banker who was a cousin of Achille Fould, and Marie-Cecile or Mitzi Springer, later Mrs Frank Wooster or Mary Wooster, whose father was the industrialist Baron Gustav Springer (1842–1920) son of Baron Max Springer. Thomas Tannatt Pryce
Thomas Tannatt Pryce VC MC & Bar (17 January 1886 – 13 April 1918) was a British recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. An officer with the Grenadier Guards during the First World War, he was posthumously awarded the VC for his actions over the period 11 to 13 April 1918, during the German spring offensive. Early life Thomas Tannatt Pryce was born at The Hague, the youngest child of four to Thomas and Rosalie Pryce, of Pentreheylin Hall, Montgomeryshire, in Wales. His father was a landowner and merchant, with business ties to London, The Hague, and the Dutch East Indies. William Thornton Pryce
William Thornton Pryce (1932–2006) was a United States diplomat and Ambassador to Honduras. Pryce was born in San Diego, California on 19 July 1932. His father, Roland Fremont Pryce, was a career naval officer. He graduated from Ebensburg High School, Wesleyan University and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. After three years' service as an officer in the U.S. Navy, he joined the Foreign Service in 1958. Pryce, a career Foreign Service Officer, served overseas in posts in Latin America and the Soviet Union. His Washington posts included service as assistant to Under Secretary of State Thomas C. Mann and to Ambassador Ellsworth Bunker. In the 1980s and early 1990s, Pryce was an alternate representative of the United States to the Organization of American States and served as senior director of the National Security Council. Vasiliki "Vicky" Pryce (' Kourmouzi ( el, Βασιλική Κουρμούζη); born 15 July 1952) is a Greek-born British economist and a former Joint Head of the United Kingdom's Government Economic Service. She is currently the Chief Economic Adviser at the Centre for Economics and Business Research, in London, where she is also a board member. Pryce is a visiting professor at Birmingham City University and King's College London. On 7 March 2013, she and her former husband, Chris Huhne, were convicted of perverting the course of justice and sentenced to eight months in prison, when she was convicted after trial and Huhne pleaded guilty. Tom Pryce
Thomas Maldwyn Pryce (11 June 1949 – 5 March 1977) was a British racing driver from Wales known for winning the Brands Hatch Race of Champions, a non-championship Formula One race, in 1975 and for the circumstances surrounding his death. Pryce is the only Welsh driver to have won a Formula One race and is also the only Welshman to lead a Formula One World Championship Grand Prix: two laps of the 1975 British Grand Prix. Pryce started his career in Formula One with the small Token team, making his only start for them at the 1974 Belgian Grand Prix. Shortly after winning the Formula Three support race for the 1974 Monaco Grand Prix, Pryce joined the Shadow team and scored his first points in Germany in only his fourth race. Richard Pryce (14 May 186430 May 1942) was an English novelist, author of ''Christopher'', ''David Penstephen'' and other works of fiction. He was also a playwright and wrote a number of one act and three-act plays. Deborah Denine Pryce (born July 29, 1951) is an American lawyer, jurist, and politician from Ohio who was the member of the United States House of Representatives for Ohio's 15th congressional district, which includes the western half of Columbus and the surrounding suburbs, from 1993 to 2009.
