''Proxenus'' is a genus of moths of the family Noctuidae erected by Gottlieb August Wilhelm Herrich-Schäffer in 1850. Proxenus Miranda
''Proxenus miranda'', the miranda moth or glistening rustic, is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in most of North America, where it has been recorded south through California to Arizona and in the Rocky Mountains to Colorado Colorado (, other variants) is a state in the Mountain West subregion of the Western United States.
