Odyssey Online Learning is a free public online high school. The school is part of the charter school district, The Charter Institute at Erskine. It was formerly known as Provost Academy South Carolina (PASC). Odyssey Online Learning has served students throughout the state of South Carolina in grades 9-12 since 2009. The headquarters of Odyssey Online Learning is located in Chapin, South Carolina. Administration As of 2020, the executive director of Odyssey Online Learning was Ashley Owings. Chapin, South Carolina
Chapin, popularly known as the "Capital of Lake Murray", is a small lake town located at the northern tip of Lexington County, South Carolina, United States. Lake Murray separates Chapin from the rest of Lexington County. The population of Chapin was 1,445 according to the 2010 census, and an estimated 1,633 in 2019. Chapin is located approximately northwest of Columbia, and many people commute there for work; however, the town is considered fringe rural by the US postal service. The town government is set up in the mayor-council form, and the current mayor is Albert Koon. Chapin has four public schools in the area; the first Chapin school was built in 1924. Maile O'Keefe
Maile O'Keefe ( ) (born February 26, 2002) is an American artistic gymnast. She was a member of the U.S. National Team and is the 2016 and 2017 U.S. Junior National Champion. She currently competes for the University of Utah's NCAA gymnastics team and is a 2x NCAA champion. Early life O'Keefe was born on February 26, 2002 to Matthew and Tori Lynn O'Keefe in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has three siblings, Paige, Caitlin & Dylan. She completed high school through Odyssey Charter School, graduating a year early in 2019. Gymnastics career Junior 2013 In 2013, O'Keefe, then eleven, was a level 9 gymnast. She attended a developmental camp at the Karolyi Ranch where she earned the opportunity to compete at an elite qualifier.
