Provision Shop
Provision Shop (Chinese: 杂货店) is a Singaporean telemovie commissioned by the Ministry of Communications and Information in collaboration with Tribal Worldwide Singapore. It is directed by Royston Tan and stars Sora Ma, Marcus Chin, Li Yinzhu, Siti Khadijah, Brandon Wong, Cui Yang, Aden Tan and Sarah Daniel. The telemovie will debut on television on July 17, 2016 on Mediacorp Channel 8. Plot The telemovie tells four stories revolving around a diverse community of locals and foreigners grappling with social tensions, and shows how through mutual understanding and respect, there will eventually be the openness to embrace change and diversity. Royston Tan
Royston Tan (; born 5 October 1976) is a Singaporean filmmaker, director, screenwriter, producer and actor. Tan is a graduate from Temasek Polytechnic, where he studied Visual Communications. Sora Ma (; born 22 January 1984) is a Malaysian actress based in Singapore. She was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 2010 to 2017. Marcus Chin On Kang (, born 22 September 1953) is a Singaporean host, actor and singer. He left Mediacorp as a full-time artiste. Career Chin joined the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation during the 1970s. During the 1990s, he was mainly known for starring in comedic roles in the long-running ''Comedy Nite'' (搞笑行动) and various shows alongside Mark Lee, Henry Thia, Moses Lim, Jack Neo and John Cheng.
