Provincial Disaster Management Authority (Balochistan)
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority is an agency of the Government of Balochistan to deal with both natural and manmade disasters. It was formed after the promulgation of the NDMA Act 2010. The Authority coordinates and collaborates to prevent and minimize damage to life, infrastructure, and environment. Provincial Emergency Operation Center (PEOC) Operation Center coordinates between provincial government and district administration in times of emergency. District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) In all the districts of Balochistan, DDMAs are established which consist of District administration officials including police and health department. Government Of Balochistan, Pakistan
The Government of Balochistan ( ur, ) is the provincial government of the largest province of Balochistan, Pakistan in Quetta. The head of the province is the Governor, who is nominated by the President of Pakistan. The chief executive of the Government of Balochistan is the Chief Minister who is elected by the Balochistan Assembly and the administrative boss of the province is the Chief Secretary of Balochistan who is appointed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The province of Balochistan in Pakistan contains most of historical Balochistan and is named after the Baloch. Neighbouring regions are Iranian Balochistan to the west, Afghanistan and Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan to the north and Punjab and Sindh to the east. To the south is the Arabian Sea. 2011 Balochistan Floods
The 2011 Balochistan floods started from the last week of February and continued until the first week of March. Balochistan province was already badly affected from last year's devastating floods as UNHCR claims that 166,000 flood victims are still homeless in the province with 240 people still living in camps. Meteorological history The Pakistan Meteorological Department issued a weather advisory in which it warned that a Western Disturbance over Iran was likely to enter in Balochistan that would cause widespread rains with isolated heavy rainfalls over Balochistan for four days. The system entered Balochistan on 28 February and caused widespread heavy rainfall in the province whereas moderate rainfall elsewhere in the country. The system moved and entered India on 5 March. Flooding and impact Hundred people were rendered homeless when a large number of houses were washed away by flash floods caused by torrential rain in Quetta and other areas in northern and central Balochistan. ...

Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority
Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority (GBDMA) is an organization which deals with natural or man-made disasters in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. GBDMA's mandate is to engage in activities concerning to all four stages of Disaster Management Spectrum. The GB Disaster Management Authority (GBDMA) was established in 2010 under the National Disaster Management Act, 2010. State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) Azad Jammu & Kashmir is an autonomous authority mandated to act as leading agency in disaster management, its mitigation and preparedness in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan. Azad Jammu & Kashmir is highly prone to multiple hazards and has experienced worst disasters situation due to earthquake, torrential rain/flood, landslides & avalanches in the recent past. After the 2005 Kashmir earthquake that killed 100,000 people and left another three million people displaced, with widespread devastation, Government of Pakistan promulgated National Disaster Management Ordinance, 2006 and established National Disaster Management Authority as the focal point at the federal level, while State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) was established for Pakistan-administered Kashmir. Provincial Disaster Management Authority (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)
Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) is a provincial government organization, which deals with natural or man-made disasters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. PDMA's mandate is to engage in activities concerning to all four stages of Disaster Management Spectrum. It was established on 14 May 2010 under the National Disaster Management Act, 2010. In May 2019, the Fata Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) was abolished and its functions were transferred to Provincial Disaster Management Authority (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), after the Federally Administered Tribal Areas were merged into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after the passing of the Twenty-fifth and Twenty-sixth Amendments to the Constitution of Pakistan. 2011 Dalbandin Earthquake
The 2011 Dalbandin earthquake occurred on with a moment magnitude of 7.2 and a maximum Mercalli intensity of VII (''Very strong''). The shock occurred in a sparsely populated area of Balochistan, caused moderate damage, three deaths, and some injuries. Earthquake The tectonic environment of this region is dominated by the motions of the Arabian Plate, the Indian Plate, and the Eurasian Plate. This earthquake occurred as a result of normal faulting within the lithosphere of the subducted Arabian Plate. Damage About 200 mud houses, including some government offices were reported damaged in the Dalbandin area of Pakistan. Quetta
Quetta (; ur, ; ; ps, کوټه‎) is the tenth most populous city in Pakistan with a population of over 1.1 million.
