Proton Music
Proton Radio is an internet electronic music station founded in 2002 by Sam Packer, Alex Ambroziak, and Eric Liberda. The station features over 200 exclusive shows from various DJs around the world, including guest DJ sets from DJs such as Sasha, Luke Chable, James Zabiela, Anthony Pappa, Kasey Taylor, Lance Cashion, Oliver Lieb, Way Out West, and others. Since 2003, they have also staged an event at the annual Winter Music Conference. Proton Radio established a record label in 2004. Proton Music has featured releases from artists such as Digital Witchcraft, Deepsky, and Stella von Schöneberg. Proton Music's first release was a compilation in October 2004 titled ''The Sound'' mixed by resident DJ Lance Cashion. Sasha (DJ)
Alexander Paul Coe (born 4 September 1969), known professionally as Sasha, is a Welsh DJ and record producer. He is best known for his live events and electronic music as a solo artist, as well as his collaborations with British DJ John Digweed as Sasha & John Digweed. He was voted as World No. 1 DJ in 2000 in a poll conducted by ''DJ Magazine''. He is a four-time International Dance Music Awards winner, four-time DJ Awards winner and Grammy Award nominee. Sasha began his career playing acid house music in the late 1980s. He partnered with John Digweed in 1993, touring internationally and producing a series of mix albums (compilations of other artists' work played in a continuous fashion). James Zabiela
James Zabiela is a DJ and music producer, producer from Southampton, England. In his early years his signature style was a fusion of Breakbeat and Progressive House music; more recently, however, he is regarded as a Progressive House, Techno and Acid House DJ although his use of Breakbeat music is still key to some parts of his sets. He is known for his Turntablism, turntable skills, extensive use of loops and effects, and the use of Pioneer (company), Pioneer CDJ-2000s, EFX1000, RMX1000 as well as using Ableton Live with various controllers and sometimes an iPad. Zabiela first gained fame in 2000 by winning Muzik Magazine's Bedroom Bedlam competition, Best Bedroom Bedlam DJ 2001. Anthony Pappa (born 15 November 1973) is an Australian DJ and electronic music producer from Melbourne. Early life Pappa was born in Italy but was raised in Melbourne, Australia where he attended Marcellin College. At the age of four he got his first drum which inspired him to become a producer later in life. Career Pappa started DJ career at the age of 13. He won Australia's DMC DJ championship at the age of 15, and by the age of 21 was playing for most prolific clubs. Way Out West are an English electronic music duo comprising Jody Wisternoff and Nick Warren. The Winter Music Conference (WMC) is a week-long electronic music conference, held every March in Miami Beach, Florida, United States since 1985. It is also known as the premiere platform for electronic dance music. Deepsky
Deepsky is an electronic music act based in Los Angeles. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Deepsky was formed in 1995 by J. Scott G. and Jason Blum after the dissolution of their first band Q, active from 1992-1995. Its two founding members met originally at the University of New Mexico. Between 1995 and 1996 they concurrently comprised the Dayspring Collective with Shawn Parker, whom together released a CD on the Fragrant Music label titled ''Spark'' in 1997. Stèlla von Schöneberg, also known as Stèlla (sVs) / Stèlla G, is a pop singer, entertainer, and songwriter from Europe.
