Protap Football Club is an amateur football club based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They currently play in the third-tier division in Malaysian football, the Malaysia M3 League. The club homeground has been the 1,000-seaters, the UM Arena. History Protap Football Club is a club founded in 2017 in Klang Valley, Kuala Lumpur and participated in several competitions in Klang Valley. Protap had their first major success in the 2017 season, when they won the Klang Valley League Division 1. On 17 February 2019, the club competed in the Malaysia FA Cup for the first time in the club's history. Captain (association Football)
The team captain of an association football team, sometimes known as the skipper, is a team member chosen to be the on-pitch leader of the team; they are often one of the older or more experienced members of the squad, or a player that can heavily influence a game or has good leadership qualities. The team captain is usually identified by the wearing of an armband. 2019 Malaysia FA Cup
The 2019 Malaysia FA Cup (also known as Shopee Malaysia FA Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 30th edition of the Malaysia FA Cup, a knockout competition for Malaysia's state football association and clubs. The winners were assured a place for the 2020 AFC Champions League preliminary round 2. 59 teams entered the competition. Qualified teams The following teams are qualified for the competition. 2019 Malaysia M3 League
The 2019 Malaysia M3 League was the 1st season of the Malaysia M3 League that replaced the former Malaysia FAM League. Establishment and format This season saw a revamp of the competition's format by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM). Announced earlier on 24 November 2018 by FAM deputy president Yusoff Mahadi, the format of the new season was outlined in a meeting by FAM's Local Competition Committee and were announced in a media statement on 19 December 2018. The format will be reverted to a straight knock-out tournament format (a format used before 2008), as opposed to the league format used since 2008. 64 teams competed for the FAM Cup, including 6 teams confirmed earlier to participate in the Malaysia FAM Cup, and teams promoted to the 2019 Malaysia Premier League. The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. Piala Sumbangsih (English: Malaysia Charity Cup), also known as Piala Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah ( en, Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Cup), is the Malaysian super cup competition. It is the curtain raiser match to the new Malaysian football season, pitting the reigning Malaysia Super League champions against the previous year's winners of the Malaysia Cup. Malaysian FA Cup
The Malaysia FA Cup ( ms, Piala FA) is an annual national knock-out football tournament in Malaysia. The cup was first held in 1990. The competition was previously managed by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), before being transferred to Football Malaysia LLP (MFL) (now known as Malaysian Football League) in the 2016 season. The cup is contested among the clubs from the Malaysia Super League, Malaysia Premier League, Malaysia M3 League and Malaysia M4 League. The preliminary and first rounds are played between the clubs that qualified from the M3 and M4 League. The winners advance to the second round and join the rest of the clubs. The winners of the competition are awarded with a slot to compete in the AFC Cup. The current title holders are Johor Darul Ta'zim, which won their second title in the 2022 edition.
