Project Pat
Patrick Earl Houston (born February 8, 1973), better known by his stage name Project Pat, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He is the older brother of Juicy J, the co-founder of Three 6 Mafia. Houston was formerly a member of hip hop group the Kaze, joining the group in 1998 the same year that the album ''KamiKaze Timez Up'' was released. Career Music beginnings and ''Ghetty Green'' Project Pat began his career with appearances on his brother Juicy J's early releases with DJ Paul in the early 1990s. After serving several years in prison for robbery charges and disappearing from recording, he re-emerged in 1999 with the solo album ''Ghetty Green'', released on his brother's Hypnotize Minds label. North Memphis is one of the five defined districts of Memphis, Tennessee. "Sippin' on Some Syrup", sometimes known as "Sippin' on Some Purple drank, Sizzurp", is the second single from Three 6 Mafia's fourth studio album ''When the Smoke Clears: Sixty 6, Sixty 1''. It features UGK and Project Pat. The song samples the synthesizer intro and Keyboard instrument, keyboard instrumental from Marvin Gaye's 1978 song "Is That Enough" from his album ''Here, My Dear''. The song peaked at #30 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Music video A video directed by Jeff Byrd was made for the song, with airtime on MTV and Black Entertainment Television, BET. It features an Insane Clown Posse "Amazing Jeckel Brothers" shirt at 1:14, a reference to Three 6 Mafia's longstanding friendship with Psychopathic Records. Glenn Thomas (June 13, 1991 – December 28, 2013), better known by his stage name Doe B, was an American rapper from Montgomery, Alabama. He was perhaps best known for being signed to fellow rapper T.I.'s Atlanta-based record label, Hustle Gang. Thomas was also known for his signature eye patch, the result of a shooting that occurred in 2009. During his career he released several mixtapes, including ''Trap Life'' (2012) and ''Baby Jesus'' (2013); he was also featured on the 2013 Grand Hustle compilation '' G.D.O.D. (Get Dough or Die)''. Otis Williams Jr. (born November 23, 1981), better known by his stage name OJ da Juiceman, is an American rapper. OJ da Juiceman was formerly signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 Brick Squad record label. OJ Da Juiceman is also the founder of vanity label 32 Entertainment. Early life Otis Williams Jr. was raised by a single mother in East Atlanta, Atlanta.
