''Professor Kosta Vujic's Hat'' ( sr, italic=yes, Šesir profesora Koste Vujića) is a 2012 Serbian film directed by Zdravko Šotra. The film was based on a novel written by Milovan Vitezović. Plot The protagonist of the film is professor Kosta Vujić who in the mid-19th century taught an extraordinarily talented generation of gymnasium students, some of whom would go on to become prominent members of the Serbian society and eventually historically significant figures. Zdravko Šotra
Zdravko Šotra ( sr-cyr, Здравко Шотра; born 13 February 1933) is a Serbian film and television director and screenwriter. He is known for directing the films ''Zona Zamfirova'', ''Boj na Kosovu'', '' Šešir profesora Vujića'', ''Santa Maria della Salute'' among others, as well as television mini-series. Early life Šotra was born in the village of Kozice, near Stolac (modern Bosnia and Herzegovina), into an ethnic Serb family as the seventh child of Mara and Đorđe Šotra. As a young child his family moved to Kosovo just prior to the outbreak of World War II, where he would grow up. Career Šotra graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade with a degree in film directing. He began his professional career at TV Belgrade, working there since its inception. His film ''Zona Zamfirova'' (2002) was watched by a record 1.2 million people in Serbia. Živojin Mišić
Field Marshal Živojin Mišić ( sr-cyrl, Живојин Мишић; 19 July 1855 in Struganik – 20 January 1921 in Belgrade) was a Field Marshal who participated in all of Serbia's wars from 1876 to 1918. He directly commanded the First Serbian army in the Battle of Kolubara and in breach of the Thessaloniki Front was the Chief of the Supreme Command. He is the most decorated officer of Serbia ever. Ljubomir Stojanović ( sr-cyr, Љубомир Стојановић, sometimes mentioned as ''Ljuba Stojanovic'') (6 August 1860, Užice – 16 June 1930) was a Serbian politician, philologist and academic. Biography Stojanović was a philologist and historian, who graduated from the School of Philosophy at the Grandes écoles ( sr, Велика школа, the ''Grandes Écoles''). After studies in Belgrade he went on to post-graduate studies in Vienna, St. Petersburg and Leipzig. At first a grammar school professor, he was appointed university professor at his ''alma mater'', the Grandes éecoles (1891-1899).
