Pro-Europeanism, sometimes called European Unionism, is a political position that favours European integration and membership of the European Union (EU).Krisztina Arató, Petr Kaniok (editors). Volt Europa
Volt Europa (frequently abbreviated as Volt) is a pro-European and European federalist political movement that also serves as the pan-European structure for subsidiary parties in several EU member states. Volt candidates stood on a common, pan-European manifesto in eight member states at the European Parliament elections in May 2019. The organisation follows a "pan-European approach" in many policy fields such as climate change, migration, economic inequality, international conflict, terrorism and the impact of the technological revolution on the labour market. Renew Europe (Renew) is a liberal, pro-European political group of the European Parliament founded for the ninth European Parliament term. Volt Austria (short name: Volt; german: Volt Österreich) is a political party in Austria and the Austrian chapter of Volt Europa a progressive and Eurofederalist pan-European political party and movement. History Volt Austria has been registered as a party since October 12, 2018 with the aim of contesting the European elections 2019. However, the around 100 members (April 2019) did not manage to collect the necessary 2600 declarations of support for a candidacy. The Reformist Movement (french: Mouvement Réformateur, MR) is a liberal French-speaking political party in Belgium. MR is traditionally a conservative-liberal party, but it also contains social-liberal factions. Progressive Alliance Of Socialists And Democrats
The Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D) is the political group in the European Parliament of the Party of European Socialists (PES). The Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats was officially founded as a Socialist Group on 29 June 1953 which makes it the second oldest political group in the European Parliament after Renew Europe (Renew).
