Priyatama (1977 Film)
''Priyatama'' ( Sweetheart) is a 1977 Hindi-language musical film, produced by T.C. Dewan under the Modern Pictures banner and directed by Basu Chatterjee. It stars Jeetendra, Neetu Singh, Rakesh Roshan, Asha Sachdev in lead roles and music composed by Rajesh Roshan. Asha Sachdev won Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for portrayal of character of Renu. Plot Ravi and Dolly live in Bombay with their respective best friends, Vicky and Renu. The two get married after the concurrence of Dolly's father, Justice Sinha. Basu Chatterjee
Basu Chatterjee ( bn, বাসু চ্যাটার্জ্জী; 10 January 1927 – 4 June 2020) was an Indian film director and screenwriter. Through the 1970s and 1980s, Chatterjee became associated with what came to be known as middle cinema or middle-of-the-road cinema filmmakers, such as Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Bhattacharya, whom he assisted on ''Teesri Kasam'' (1966). Sapru (actor)
Daya Kishan Sapru (16 March 1916 – 20 October 1979), was an Indian actor famed for a variety of character roles in Hindi cinema, particularly villains, judges and aristocrats in crime thrillers and dramas. His most notable performances were in Bollywood productions of between the late 1950s and early 1970s, including ''Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam'', ''Heer Raanjha'', ''Pakeezah'', '' Kala Pani'', ''Dooj Ka Chand'', '' Tere Mere Sapne'', ''Humjoli'', ''Jewel Thief'', and '' Deewar''. Kishore Kumar (born as Abhas Kumar Ganguly (); 4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian playback singer and actor. Asit Sen (13 May 1917 – 18 September 1993) was an Indian film director turned famous comedian in the Hindi film industry. He directed 2 films and starred in over 200 films between 1953 and 1993 until his death. As an actor/comedian, he often portrayed a character with authority, such as a police inspector or landlord, but with comic effect, mostly as a slow-speaking person. His acting career was particularly prolific in the 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s. He had a very thin voice, in striking contrast to his huge physical frame and spoke his dialogues at a slow pace.
