Gilles Tremblay, (6 September 1932 – 27 July 2017) was a Canadian composer from Quebec. Early life and education Trembay studied at the conservatories of Québec in Montréal and Paris (1954–61), where his teachers included Olivier Messiaen (analysis), Andrée Vaurabourg-Honegger (counterpoint), Yvonne Loriod (piano), and Maurice Martenot (inventor of the ondes Martenot). He also attended Stockhausen's summer courses at Darmstadt, where he became interested in electro-acoustic techniques. Career Tremblay returned to Quebec in 1961. Clémence DesRochers OC (born 23 November 1933) is a Canadian actress, humourist, singer, and author. Life She was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec on 23 November 1933. Paul Buissonneau
Paul Georges Buissonneau, (born 24 December 1926 – 30 November 2014) was a leading francophone theatre director in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Born in Paris, France, Buissonneau started his career as a singer with the French chorus Les Compagnons de la chanson, alongside Édith Piaf who was also singing with the group at the time. He parted company with the chorus during a tour of North America, and settled in Quebec. In 1952, the City of Montreal appointed Buissonneau as artistic director of ''La Roulotte'', a parks-based outdoor theatre, which gave an early opportunity to famous Quebec artists Yvon Deschamps, Jean-Louis Millette, Claude Jasmin, Claude Léveillé, Marcel Sabourin and Robert Charlebois. André Brassard
André Brassard (28 August 1946 – 11 October 2022) was a Canadian stage director, filmmaker and actor, best known for staging the vast majority of Michel Tremblay's plays. He was the director of the French section of the National Arts Center from 1982 to 1989 and the National Theatre School from 1992 to 2000. Brassard's 1974 film ''Once Upon a Time in the East (1974 film), Once Upon a Time in the East'' was entered into the 1974 Cannes Film Festival.
