Priscilla Steenbergen
Priscilla Steenbergen (born 25 July 1998) is a Dutch professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Her biggest achievement to date was playing in the quarter-finals at the 2022 WDF World Darts Championship. She was a silver and bronze medalist of the WDF Europe Cup. Career After not being able to qualify for the BDO World Darts Championship from the qualifiers in 2016, she went to the third round at the 2016 Winmau World Masters, where she lost to Trina Gulliver by 1–4 in legs. In 2017, she was in the quarter-finals of the Hal Masters. In 2019, she advanced to the quarter-finals at the German Open and made it to the 2019 BDO World Trophy via the play-off qualifiers. During this tournament, she lost in the first round match to Aileen de Graaf by 0–4 in legs. Noa-Lynn van Leuven (born 27 September 1996) is a Dutch darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Early life Van Leuven began considering transitioning around the age of 16, and began her gender transition as a teenager. She told the PA news agency that she had suffered depression beforehand, and that she "wouldn't be here" if not for her transition. Van Leuven had played darts for nine years before her transition, though she stopped for several years. She works as a chef de partie. Career 2022 Having passed stringent transitioning tests to play in women's darts, van Leuven made her debut at the 2022 PDC Women's Series. Aurora Fochesato (born 1 January 2006) is an Italian female professional darts player who currently plays in the World Darts Federation (WDF), where she is the current 2023 WDF World Darts Championship, WDF girls' world darts champion, and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. She is also a first gold medalist from Italy in the World Darts Federation international tournament, and also EDF European Darts Championship, EDF European Champion. Career Aurora's career in darts began in 2017, when she started to participate in local darts tournaments in Italy. 2022 Dutch Open (darts)
The 2022 Dutch Open (officially referred to as the 2022 TOTO Dutch Open Darts) was the 49th edition of the Dutch Open organised by the World Darts Federation. The tournament was held at the De Bonte Wever in Assen, Netherlands. Tournament has been awarded Platinum ranking status, with a total prize fund €27,650. Ross Montgomery who won the previous men's tournament was absent from the event, having switched to the Professional Darts Corporation in January 2022. Aileen de Graaf as three-time champion was defending women's title, but she lost in quarter-finals to later finalist Rhian O'Sullivan. Jelle Klaasen became the new champion. This is his first victory in the World Darts Federation tournament since the victory at 2006 BDO World Darts Championship. Beau Greaves won the women's tournament.
