Priscilla Shirer
Priscilla Shirer (born December 31, 1974) is an American author, motivational speaker, actress, and Christian media personality, and evangelist. Her father is Dallas mega-church pastor Tony Evans and her brother is musician Anthony Evans. Retrieved November 2016 Biography The daughter of Tony Evans, senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church in Dallas, Texas, Priscilla grew up well acquainted with the Bible. As a freshman at the University of Houston, she interned with a Christian radio station. Soon listeners were calling the station, inviting Priscilla to speak at their Bible study groups and other events. Soon she was invited to lead a weekly Bible study at the Zig Ziglar Corporation and then to join its speaker team. Anne Graham Lotz
Anne McCue Graham Lotz (born May 21, 1948) is an American Protestant evangelist. She is the second daughter of evangelist Billy Graham and his wife Ruth Graham. She founded AnGeL Ministries, and is the author of 11 books, of which her best known is ''Just Give Me Jesus''. Early life Lotz was born Anne McCue Graham, in 1948 in Montreat, North Carolina. Lotz is the second of the five children born to Billy and Ruth Graham. The Graham Family had settled near Ruth's parents in Montreat in what remains today as the Graham Family Home, Little Piney Cove. Ruth was often the single parent for months at a time to the five Graham children. Of her upbringing, Lotz says, "y fatherwas away almost full time. GMA Dove Award
A Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The awards are presented annually. Formerly held in Nashville, Tennessee, the Dove Awards took place in Atlanta, Georgia during 2011 and 2012, but has since moved back to Nashville. The ceremonies feature live musical performances and are broadcast on TBN. The Potter's House Church, Dallas
The Potter's House is a megachurch in Dallas, Texas, United States, founded by T. D. Jakes. ''Outreach (magazine), Outreach'' magazine ranked it the 10th largest in the US as of 2008 based on a weekly attendance of 17,000 and a capacity of about 8,000. History The church building was established by televangelist W. V. Grant as the Eagles Nest Family Church. It is located in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas right next to Dallas Baptist University. After Grant was convicted of tax evasion in 1996 he sold the facility to T. D. Jakes, a fellow televangelist, who renamed it and relaunched it as The Potter's House. Jakes had moved from West Virginia with 50 families, who formed the nucleus of the new congregation. To handle expansion, the church built a sanctuary at a cost of $45 million, paying off the debt in four years. Kay Lee Arthur (born November 11, 1933) is Christian author and bible teacher and co-founder of Precept Ministries International. Early life and education Kay Lee Arthur was born on November 11, 1933, in Jackson, Michigan. She grew up in a religious household, which moved frequently. She graduated from nursing school in 1955 at age 21, and married her first husband, Frank Thomas Goetz, Jr. They got a divorce in 1961. Previously disconnected from her religion, Arthur became newly committed to Christianity in 1963. Afterwards, she continued nursing and moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee to attend Tennessee Temple University, where she earned a diploma.
