Princess Hermine of Schaumburg-Lippe (german: Prinzessin Hermine zu Schaumburg-Lippe) (Bückeburg, 5 October 1845 – Regensburg, 23 December 1930) was a member of the House of Schaumburg-Lippe, princely family of Schaumburg-Lippe who was the consort of Duke Maximilian of Württemberg from 1876 until his death in 1888. Family and early life Princess Hermine was born on 5 October 1845 in Bückeburg, the capital of the Principality of Schaumburg-Lippe, during the reign of her paternal grandfather, George William, Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe. She was the eldest daughter of Adolf I, Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe, Adolf, Hereditary Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe and his wife Princess Hermine of Waldeck and Pyrmont. Victor II Karl Frederick of Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym ( Schaumburg, 2 November 1767Schaumburg, 22 April 1812), was a German prince of the House of Ascania from the Anhalt-Bernburg branch and a ruler of the principality of Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym. He was the eldest son of Karl Louis, Prince of Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym, by his second wife Amalie Eleonore, daughter of Frederick William, Prince of Solms-Braunfels. Juliane of Hesse-Philippsthal (8 June 1761 – 9 November 1799), was a countess of Schaumburg-Lippe, married in 1780 to Count Philip II, Count of Schaumburg-Lippe. She served as the regent of Schaumburg-Lippe during the minority of her son from 1787 to 1799. Philipp II Ernst, Count of Schaumburg-Lippe (5 July 1723– 13 February 1787) was a ruler of the counties of Lippe-Alverdissen and Schaumburg-Lippe. Princess Emma of Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym (20 May 1802–1 August 1858) was a German princess. She was grandmother of Queen Emma of the Netherlands, who was born the day after she died and was named after her, and was great-grandmother of Queen regnant Wilhelmina of the Netherlands.
