Prince Wilhelm Victor of Prussia (german: Wilhelm Viktor Ernst Freund Friedrich Georg Adalbert; 15 February 1919 – 7 February 1989) was a German nobleman, soldier and diplomat. Life Prince Wilhelm Victor was a grandson of Emperor Wilhelm II and the youngest child of Prince Adalbert of Prussia (14 July 1884 – 22 September 1948) and Princess Adelheid "Adi" of Saxe-Meiningen (16 August 1891 – 25 April 1971). His father, Prince Adalbert carried also the title "Graf Lingen". He forfeited his rights of succession as a result of his unequal marriage. His sister, Princess Viktoria Marina married William Patterson. The House of Hoyos is a Spanish and Austrian noble family. It derives its name from El Hoyo de Pinares in Ávila, Castile and León, and can be traced to the 9th century. Juan de Hoyos and his family accompanied the later Ferdinand I, Holy Roman Emperor, to Lower Austria in 1525, founding the Austrian branch of the family. Königslutter am Elm is a town in the district of Helmstedt in Lower Saxony, Germany. Geography It is located on the northeastern slopes of the Elm hill range, within the Elm-Lappwald Nature Park, about east of Brunswick, west of the district capital Helmstedt, and south of Wolfsburg.
