Darkseid
Darkseid () is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by writer-artist Jack Kirby to serve as the primary antagonist of his "Fourth World (comics), Fourth World" metaseries, and was first seen briefly in ''Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen'' #134 in December 1970 before being officially introduced in the debut issue of ''Forever People'' in February 1971. Kirby modeled Darkseid's face on actor Jack Palance and based his personality on Adolf Hitler and Richard Nixon. Formerly known as Uxas, Darkseid is a New Gods, New God and the tyrannical Lord of Apokolips who is regarded as one of the most powerful beings in the DC Universe. Persuader
Persuader is a Swedish power metal band from the city Umeå in the Swedish province of Västerbotten Norrland. The band was formed in 1997, and they have since released five full-length albums. They have a sound similar to bands including early Blind Guardian, Iron Savior, and Nocturnal Rites, although Persuader includes influences of thrash metal also. Members Jens and Emil joined the band Savage Circus in 2005, started by Thomen Stauch after he left Blind Guardian. The band's fourth studio album, '' The Fiction Maze'', was released January 2014 in the US. Mano (comics)
The Fatal Five is a supervillain team of the 30th century in the DC Comics universe. They were created by Jim Shooter and first appeared in ''Adventure Comics'' #352 (1967) as enemies of the Legion of Super-Heroes. Fictional team history Originally a gang of super-criminals assembled by the Legion of Super-Heroes to help them destroy the Sun-Eater threatening Earth, the Emerald Empress, Mano, the Persuader, and Validus, led by Tharok, subsequently formed an alliance after it was successfully stopped. Emerald Empress
The Emerald Empress is the name of several, fictional super-villains appearing American comic books published by DC Comics. The characters associated with the name name are often portrayed as a prominent adversary of the Legion of Super-Heroes. The first incarnation of the character appeared in ''Adventure Comics'' #352 (January 1967). The first and mainstream version of the character is Sarya of Venegar, whom discovered the Emerald Eye of Ekron and was corrupted by the artifact, awakening the evil dormant within the young woman and making her a conqueror. Sarya turned to a life of piracy and began to gain a following before later founding the Fatal Five and becoming an enemy of the Legion of Super-Heroes. The second incarnation of the character, Cera Kesh, is instead portrayed as a teenaged fan of the Legion of Super-Heroes whom auditioned to be a part of the team, only to be turned away and mocked for her overweight and unattractive appearance.
