''Prin'' (Greek: ''Πριν'', meaning "Before") is a weekly newspaper, published in Athens and circulating nationwide. ''Prin'' is published by the New Left Current, although it is not strictly the newspaper of the party. History Prin started as a monthly magazine, published by members of the Communist Party of Greece. Shortly after the secession of several members of the Central Committee, that led to the foundation of the New Left Current, Prin was transformed into a weekly newspaper on 18 March 1990.
