Primo Victoria
''Primo Victoria'' (Latin for "Victory First") is the debut studio album by Swedish Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Sabaton (band), Sabaton. The band had previously recorded the full length album ''Metalizer'' with Italian label Underground Symphony, but due to conflicts its release was delayed until 2007. ''Primo Victoria'' instead became Sabaton's debut album, recorded in 2004 in The Abyss (recording studio), Abyss Studios, and released the following year with their new label, Black Lodge Records. In 2010 the album was re-released on German label Nuclear Blast, with six additional bonus tracks, under the name ''Primo Victoria Re-Armed''. The re-release reached 43rd place in the Swedish album charts. Lyrics theme Sabaton used themes of war history in ''Primo Victoria'', a style they have continued ever since. Normandy Landings
The Normandy landings were the landing operations and associated airborne operations on Tuesday, 6 June 1944 of the Allied invasion of Normandy in Operation Overlord during World War II. Codenamed Operation Neptune and often referred to as D-Day, it was the largest seaborne invasion in history. The operation began the liberation of France (and later western Europe) and laid the foundations of the Allied victory on the Western Front. Planning for the operation began in 1943. Norwegian Army 2nd Battalion
The 2nd Battalion ( no, 2. bataljon; abbreviated as 2BN) is an infantry unit of the Norwegian Army, based at camp Skjold in Troms county in Northern Norway. It serves in the light infantry role specialized in Arctic warfare as part of Brigade Nord; the battalion is one of three manoeuvre battalions within the brigade, along with Telemark Battalion and Panserbataljonen. Twisted Sister
Twisted Sister was an American heavy metal band originally from Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, and later based on Long Island, New York. Their best-known songs include " We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock", both of which were associated with music videos noted for their sense of slapstick humor. Napalm is an incendiary mixture of a gelling agent and a volatile petrochemical (usually gasoline (petrol) or diesel fuel). The name is a portmanteau of two of the constituents of the original thickening and gelling agents: coprecipitated aluminium salts of naphthenic acid and palmitic acid. Napalm B is the more modern version of napalm (utilizing polystyrene derivatives) and, although distinctly different in its chemical composition, is often referred to simply as "napalm". Convoy ON 92 was a trade convoy of merchant ships during the Second World War. It was the 92nd of the numbered series of ON convoys Outbound from the British Isles to North America. The ships departed from Liverpool on 6 May 1942Hague, p. 158 and were joined on 7 May by Mid-Ocean Escort Force Group A-3. The convoy was discovered by Wolfpack Hecht on 11 May; seven ships were sunk before the U-boats lost contact with the convoy on 13 May. Surviving ships reached Halifax, Nova Scotia on 21 May.
