Primeval (series 3)
The third series of the British television, British Science fiction on television, science fiction programme ''Primeval (TV series), Primeval'' began on 28 March 2009 and concluded on 6 June 2009 after airing ten episodes. ''Primeval'' follows a team of scientists tasked with investigating the appearance of temporal anomalies across the United Kingdom through which prehistoric and futuristic creatures enter the present. The third series featured dramatic changes to the main cast, seeing the departure of lead actors Douglas Henshall, Lucy Brown and Juliet Aubrey and the introduction of several new lead characters, played by Jason Flemyng, Laila Rouass and Ben Mansfield. Douglas Henshall
Douglas “Dougie” James Henshall (born 19 November 1965) is a Scottish television, film and stage actor. He is best known for his roles as Professor Nick Cutter in the science fiction series ''Primeval'' (2007–2011) and Detective Inspector Jimmy Pérez in the crime drama ''Shetland'' (2013–2022). Background Henshall's mother was a nurse and his father a salesman. He attended Barrhead High School. While studying there, he joined the Scottish Youth Theatre. After graduation, he moved to London and trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Later, Henshall joined the 7:84 theatre company in Glasgow. He later returned to London where he received critical acclaim for his theatre work, notably ''Life of Stuff'' at the Donmar Warehouse (1993) and ''American Buffalo'' at the Young Vic (1997). Ramon Tikaram
Ramon Tikaram is a British stage and screen actor of Indo-Fijian and Southeast Asian descent. He is known for playing such roles as Ferdy in the BBC television series ''This Life'' and Qadim Shah in the BBC One soap opera '' EastEnders''. ''Diictodon'' is an extinct genus of pylaecephalid dicynodont. These mammal-like synapsids lived during the Late Permian period, approximately 255 million years ago. James Moran (born 5 March 1972) is a British screenwriter for television and film, who wrote the horror-comedy ''Severance''. He works in the horror, comedy, science-fiction, historical fiction and spy thriller genres. Early career Born in York, Moran's first produced work came as the result of a competition run by the Sci Fi Channel. The competition asked for writers to submit short science-fiction themed film scripts.
