Primera División De México Apertura 2009 Liguilla Final
The Apertura 2009 Liguilla Final is a two-legged football match-up to determine the Apertura 2009 champion. After 17 matches on regular season, and 2 two-legged rounds of '' Liguilla'', Cruz Azul and Monterrey have reached the final. Final rules Like other match-ups in the knockout round, the teams will play two games, one at each team's home stadium. As the highest seeded team determined at the beginning of the Liguilla, Cruz Azul was to have home-field advantage for the second leg. However, the tiebreaking criteria used in previous rounds will not be the same in the final. If the teams remained tied after 90 minutes of play during the 2nd leg, extra time will be used, followed by a penalty shootout if necessary. Luis Ernesto Pérez Gómez (born 12 January 1981) is a Mexican former professional footballer and current manager. Club career Pérez debuted in the Primera División with Necaxa in the 1999 Invierno season, playing his first game 21 September in a 3–1 victory against Santos Laguna. Pérez finished the season having played in 11 games, and by the beginning of the next year had a firm grip of the starting position. Pérez was named rookie of the tournament at the end of the season. Diego Alfonso Martínez Balderas (born 15 February 1981) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a right-back. Biography Martínez made his debut in the Invierno 2001 season with Necaxa. His ability to attack made him a fan favorite and quickly earned him a starting position.
